<p>The system makes it possible to automatically adapt the design to the workpiece at hand by automatically recognising and measuring previously applied or printed fiducial marks and using the data thus obtained to automatically adapt the work paths to the workpiece.</p>
<p><strong>Practical example: </strong><br />
In order to be able to cut or mill out printed motifs from a plate with precise contours, the plate with the print would have to be perfectly aligned on the machine and a zero point would have to be determined with great effort. Even in the ideal case, one or more test runs would have to be made. In some cases, an unnecessarily thick edge is also left.</p>
<p>Our camera system avoids this problem. Registration marks previously printed around the subject are recognised by the video positioning system and compared with the working paths of the drawing. The drawing is then rotated, shifted and, if necessary, scaled based on the differences detected.</p>
<p>The system is seamlessly integrated into cncGraF Pro as a plug-in. The definition of an offset between the camera and Z-axis position allows permanent mounting next to the Z-axis and is ideal for digital printing, packaging design, sign and advertising production as well as fabric cutting for flag and banner production using milling tools, oscillating tangential knives and lasers.</p>

<p>In order to be able to carry out high-quality milling work, it is essential that the tool length and the zero point in the Z-axis of the CNC machines are measured precisely.<br />
The precision tool length sensor enables fast, precise and automatic measurement of the tool length of milling cutters, drills etc. after each tool change, as well as tool breakage monitoring.<br />
Time-consuming manual calibration, such as scratching the workpiece surface, is no longer necessary.<br />
In order to meet the requirements for extremely high precision, the tool length sensor has a solid, finely milled base body with precise 16 mm flank guidance of the sensing cylinder. The functional principle with linear guide is absolutely free of lateral forces, so that even sensitive and very small tools can be measured.</p>
